🌍 GG23 Regen Rio de Janeiro

1️⃣ Round Overview

GreenPill Brasil, in collaboration with Fabulosa Labs, is launching the Regen Rio program—a three-stage initiative designed to empower local nonprofits in Rio de Janeiro with Web3-native fundraising tools, and continued impact support. We’ve gathered a total of US$29,000, of which US$4,000 will be used to fund our operational and onboarding teams and US$25,000 will be deployed throughout the program:

  1. Quadratic Funding (QF) Round on Gitcoin – Nonprofits learn about Web3 and receive hands-on assistance (via in-person gatherings, workshops, and digital onboarding), as they get immediate access to decentralized funding and a growing community of supporters.
    1. Round Operators: Coi (GreenPill Network) - @growecosystems, Monty Merlin (CeloELOPG & Regen Coordination), Diogo (AgroforestDAO), Athus (GreenPill Brasil)
    2. Application Dates: March 15 11:20 AM UTC -3 → April 16 11:59 PM UTC -3
    3. Donation Dates: April 2 12:00 AM UTC -3 → April 16 11:59 PM UTC -3
    4. Total Matching Pool: (13k USDGLO)
  2. Impact Setup - 7k USD in cREAL – Participating nonprofits then register clear goals and track their results on dedicated platforms (e.g., KarmaGAP), unlocking additional resources for those who demonstrate tangible progress.
  3. Regen Rio Commitment Pool - 5k USD in cREAL – The final stage (e.g., Sarafu) offers a shared pool of funds to projects that continue advancing their impact metrics, fostering collaboration and long-term sustainability.
